Just a short mail from Me .... I am getting ready to leave again because we are going back to the show ring
 to participate in the BIS final today!!! Diablo won best of breed a the big Copenhagen winner show – so he won the title
Copenhagen winner 2008 (third year he wins that title!!) and got his last and most important Caciab!!! So now he is international
champion under the FCI ………. Perhaps the world first international champion ever!!!! I will Google it to try to find out if he really is
the first Aussie to become international champion ……. But I think he is!!!!!!  
Jada become BOS and also got the title Copenhagen winner 2008!!! And with Cabib……….. but she will not become international champion
until next year. She was handled by pro. handler Hugo Quevedo from Peru. He has been handling dogs for many years in USA!!!
Cuba went 2’th best dog with res. Cacib after Diablo in the champion class!!! He look stunning!!! Cuba was handled by Naja Baaring.
Sycamore become 2’th best bitch in her class J she had so much fun in the ring……… perhaps too much fun *LOL* but that is ok with we ….
As long as she is happy to be there, I can live with her jumping around J J she is only 1 ½ years so her time will come one day.
Later Diablo won the group….so now I am going back to the show ring today J ………. So more details and photos later today.

Bitta reports:   Cuba - Thornapple Cuba Blue -
was a junior handler dog for a sweet girl. Her name is Felicia and her
and Cuba went BIS 2 junior handler Saturday and BIS 4 Sunday. 
He was doing a SUPER job!!! I am so proud of him!!!

*** approximately 3500 dogs entered * June 29th ***
We received a phone call late this afternoon from Anna-Lena.  It was 11pm Sweden time.  They were on their
way home from the dog show in Norway.  She gave us the GREAT NEWS that Chauncey took Best Of Breed, Group 1
and Best In Show 4!!!!  This was a large show celebrating the Kennel Club's 145th Anniversary.  Anna-Lena will
email all of the details when she returns home.  SUPER HUGE CONGRATS Anna-Lena & Niklas!

Now we are home... I can first of all tell you that we saw 5 Moose on the
way home. One with a very tiny little calf ... a tiny little baby who was light brown -- so darn cute!
Chauncey was so good today. He became Best Of Breed and Group 1 Winner under the Swedish judge
 Per Svarstad and BIS-4 for judge Hans Van Der Berg (who judged Crufts when Diablo was BOB and group2).
Boom became second best dog. Enya was BOS with CC and Norwegian Champion!!! So she got her first champion title!!!

Thornapple Ruby Passion
Hi Ellen and Amy! I hope everything are alright with you! Here in Sweden It’s very good, especially today. I took my girls to a dog show
 ( we have to train for the WORLD DOG SHOW next week J) It was 16 aussies entered. Olivia became second best bitch with CC
(She has three CC now) and BOB was little beautiful Lucy J The judge were Bo Wiberg from Sweden. Then we waited the whole afternoon
for the group and Lucy were placed as BIG 2!  The judge name were Natalja Nekrosiene from Litauen. Now we are home and we are tired!!.
I know I promised you pictures from the dog show when Lucy became BIG 4 and here they are. I’m waiting for pictures from this show to.

V is IvoryIsle's Coffee Bean. He is after all meant to be Venti but
for some reason V is used a lot more *grin*. Much quicker to get out

June 13th *** News from Amanda!
Well today was a good day at the dog show although it was really really
really hot 100 degrees. V did great in his class although really wanted to
play with the competition. He then went onto get Winners Dog and Best of
Winners for his first point from the 6-9 month puppy class! To top it off
we waited around for the match, which was scheduled after BIS around 6pm
and we showed at 9am! It was so worth the wait he won Best of Breed Puppy
and then went on to a Herding Group 1!
Our luck was out by then, sick of the heat he decide to revisit baby puppy
hood and play non stop in the In-Show lineup but he sure did have fun and
fell for the cutest Bull Dog Puppy Bitch you have ever seen *grin*.
You would think he would be one tuckered out little dude but he is
currently bouncing of the hotel bed playing with his new toy he won in the
Puppy Match! Anyway will send you a pic when it arrives! Amanda
  
VENTI KNOWS HOW TO COOL OFF IN THE CALIFORNIA SURF!!!!

  
Well, its that time of the year and we took a small trip this weekend.
We decided to see how Venti would like the surf. We reached the beach and he went nuts!
Dove straight into the water like he has been doing it for years. Towards the end of the day
he began to actually start riding the waves in. He loved it!!! I guess I shouldn't be surprised
he is after all a California boy at heart! What a little surfer dude! Venti must take after
Cruzan's love of water because his mumma Minnie sure hated that water. Amanda

News From Sweden!

 We're off to Norway this weekend and next week is the BIG World dog show in Stockholm. It's over 22.000 dogs!!!!
It's 143 Aussies!!!! It will be a LOTS of Thornapples there. I know: Boom, Chauncey, Damon, Diablo, Enya, Jada,
Sarah, Slash, Sydor, Latte, Lucy, Olivia. That is what I know but maybe it's coming even more :-)) Hugs A-L

 I have a lovely photo of Angelica (that I haven't send before, sorry) it was from the weekend in the beginning
 of June when we were in Norway. She actually stands in snow, and she did a snowball!!!! Isn't that cool in the
middle of the summer!!!! Hug, A-L
